Geologic Time- Cretaceous

Cretaceous it happen 144 to 65 million years ago, during this period, many dinosaurs, plants, birds, ocean survivor maine reptiles, ammonites, and  the thick shell clam are appear. Cretaceous's climate are very warm the global sea level were high( NO POLAR ICE). The cretaceous period were ended by ASTEROID, many species are dead( Except for birds).

1. What did you enjoy most about this project?
I enjoy when I doing the video, because this is my first time I'm doing the video, so excited, and I proud of myself.

2. What was most challenging about this project? Why?
I think most challenging about this project is when I wrote the text for the picture, sometime the picture's name is too long, and I could not put full name on it, so I have to summarize name.

3.What you change about ths project and why?
I would to change that we don't have to do reference, because it takes long time, some time I just forgot to take reference, don't I have to go back and check time, it really waste my time.

4.What are 3 things that you learned from this project?
I learn this period happen 144 to 65 million years ago, during this period many dinosaurs, plant, birds, ocean survivor maine reptiles etc are appear. Also the the cretaceous period were ended by asteroid.

Nuclear Fusion

A Nuclear Fusion is when nuclear reaction inside a star change two hydrogen gas molecules into a helium molecule.

H-R Diagram

The H-R Diagram is to classify stars according to their luminnosity, spectral type, color, temperature and evolutionary stage.

Type of stars

They are 4 type of star, they are White Dwarf, Main sequence, Supergiants and Giants.

What is a star?

A star are very huge with hot gas, they look small because they are too far away, the hotter star are made by nuclear fusion, also star has lots of different color and size.

Hurricane Irene Project

Critical Thinking
1.What effect does water temperature have on the creation a hurricane?
It happen every spring and summer, when the ocean water are getting warmest, the two winds are meet together, and become very strong and powerful hurricane.
2.Why would there be more damage to an area during high tide?Because during high tide, the water level is very high, so when the hurricane came, it will cause tsunami, flooding, and it really damage to the building.
3.If an area is fully saturated, how will this be more dangerous for an area?If an area is fully saturated, the water will come out and cause flooding.

4.Why would there be more flooding if the ground was fully saturated? When the saturated is full, that mean the saturated can’t save more water, so it will be more flooding.

Reflection
1.What is something that you liked about this Mini-project?We learn about how hurricane effects the environment, also learn flooding, water cycle, Tide and ground water.
2.What was difficult for you on this project?
The most difficult for me on this project was to fine many information about this topic, and spend a lot of time.
3.What would you change about your work on this project?
Do more research, and understand better about this topic.
4.How did this project help you learn about Hurricane Irene?
In this project I learn many thing which is I never learn before, the hurricane impact the environment by destroyed the building, tree and house etc. also I learn different topic form other group, it's really helpful information.
